Château du Mignon is one of the oldest estates in Saint Etienne de Lisse. It has the peculiarity that it has always been passed on to the owners through descent or marriage. The Du Rocher family, owners since the 15th century. According to the family records, they passed it on in 1731, through the marriage of their only daughter to the illustrious Grailly family. After the revolution, the estate was passed directly through a marriage between the Grailly and Grateloup families, the family to which the current owners belong.
Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 4 or 5 days and post-fermentation maceration for 15 to 20 days, depending on the vintage.
Tasting: Sustained ruby color. Balanced and harmonious palate. Fruity, round wine with velvety tannins. Its bouquet and finesse augur a very good aging potential. This wine goes perfectly with red meat or a cheese platter.
