Grape Varieties: 100% Scheurebe
Scheurebe was created by German viticulturalist Dr. Georg Scheu in 1916, when he was working as director of a grape-breeding institute in Alzey in Rheinhessen, by crossing Riesling with an unknown wild vine. The Scheurebe seed is characterized by its fragrance being gorgeous, its acidity being low and its wine with strong fruit taste. As a Kabinet there is less acidity and there is mellowness of the fruit.
This aromatic white wine is full of grapefruit flavor and floral character, with a plump mouthfeel and a lush ending. It's incredibly versatile and pairs well with all kinds of assertively spiced foods.
