Grape Variety: 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet franc
Chateau Haut-Mazeris
Located in the highlands of the Fronsac region, fully enjoying the sunshine, four generations of the LUYNES family have worked on this land, devoted their efforts to the field management and brewing skills of the vineyard, and are produced by the garage wine. Founder Jean Luc Thunevin serves as the winemaking consultant here. Because the winery has produced high-quality wines for many years, it has attracted the attention of the famous wine critic Robert Parket, who has scored high marks for many wines of the winery.
Tasting: Bright ruby coloured skirt with red tile coloured skirt, with a hint of toast on the first nose and an open nose on the second, where you can find ripe red fruit aromas and rich oak barrel aromas. On the palate it is soft and the tannins give it a balanced mouthfeel. The aftertaste of dried plums and chocolate lingers very long.
