Grape Varieties: 100% Sangiovese
The wine ferments and macerates for around 20 days on it´s skins, it then matures in wood cooperage for at least 24 months. The wine is traditional in style, has a full tannic body and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Brilliant transparent ruby red in colour with bright cherry red fruit on the nose and a finish that will guide you directly into a Tuscan daydream this is a typical Chianti Classico, vigorous, tannic when young and at the same time elegant, perfectly reflecting it´s terroir of origin. Undoubtably the hallmark of this wine is the character of the Sangiovese grape vinified in a style unique to Chianti Classico and instantly recognizable as such.
