The Château de la Selve is between Valencia and Montpellier, on the banks of Chassezac (main tributary of the Ardeche) Grospierres. XIII century, the castle was originally a fortified house, on the borders of the Empire. Today, Chazallon family cultivates 38 hectares of 6 different varietals on the field, and made it a haven of peace, by building 6 Farm France. Since the restructuring of vineyards in 2002, the family advocates organic farming without chemical fertilizers, weed killers or insecticides.
The garnet-red color with a violet glow radiates in its glass case. The nose, initially carried by an intense coffee and a beautiful cherry, is then expressed on exotic notes of tobacco, incense and fine spices for a parade of exquisite flavors. The mouth is a eulogy to the greatest creators. Kirsh cherry goes perfectly with mocha. The tannins are round and silky, release a juice dressed in a cedar wood, fading gently, to enjoy a final all licorice that offers a very nice length to all. Between sophistication, class and character, this vintage Florence has all the codes of haute couture.
