Graves is a sub-region of Bordeaux on the left bank. It is considered one of the oldest and is one of the few with a lot to offer in terms of both red and white wine.
The castle Balaurin has a sandy gravelly soil. The Wine making is traditional. The vinification is made with temperature-controlled vats and modern grape harvester is used during the harvest
Tasting: This Grave wine is flexible, strong, rich and with a good aromatic intensity (aroma of red fruits, strawberry, raspberry) with floral notes (violet), elegant and sensual.The gravelly soil brings strength with well-balanced tannins.Associate dishes: omelets with truffles, roast beef, rack of lamb, veal ratings, duck, and cheese.
