Grape Varieties: 100% Kerner
The Kerner grape variety is a new variety from the 1970s, the name of which refers to the Swabian poet Justinus Kerner. It produces juicy wines with lively acidity and is often very similar in taste to a Riesling.
The Kreuznacher Kronenberg Kerner Spätlese presents distinctive fruit aromas, which, accompanied by mild acidity, are reminiscent of grape enjoyment in the vineyard. The sweet fruit aromas are found in the taste and are intensified again by the acid.
Excellent by itself or served with cheese, oriental food and richly flavoured meat and poultry.
